Milner Browne, Ireland’s only SAP Gold Partner, has again been selected as one the country’s fastest growing technology companies. Milner Browne was included in Deloitte’s Fast 50 Awards for the third consecutive year.
The selection cements Milner Browne’s position as one of Ireland’s most progressive and forward-thinking technology firms.
Morgan Browne, Chief Executive at Milner Browne, collected the company’s award at the ceremony in Dublin.
“It’s a fantastic achievement to have been selected as one of Ireland’s fastest growing technology companies for the third year running,” he said. “One of the biggest drivers of our growth over the last few years has been our innovation. Following the recent release of Enterpryze for SAP Business One, and its native mobile apps in the Apple and Android stores, we expect this growth to accelerate further over the next 12 months.”
In total, the Fast 50 companies had a record turnover of more than €1.6bn in the last 12 months and an average revenue of €31m. Last year’s winner, eShopWorld, was again selected as Ireland’s fastest growing technology firm after witnessing a growth in turnover of 2,596% in the last four years.
Also included in this year’s Fast 50 was one of Milner Browne’s customers, GiftsDirect.com. The Dublin-based firm was selected in 26th place. The online gift store had further reason to celebrate on the evening after CEO Lulu O’Sullivan won the category for Deloitte’s Leading Female award.
Joan O’Connor, a partner at Deloitte, said organisations included within the Fast 50 were playing a key part in the revival of the Irish economy. “Their contribution to the technology sector is critical to the success of the industry overall in Ireland and it is clear from the turnover derived from exports that they are having considerable success in global markets also” she said.
